Event Details

April marks 6 months of meeting with our Around the World Book Club. If you enjoy exploring other cultures and learning about diverse experiences, this group may be a great fit for you. Meet with us the 1st Friday of each month at noon in the Main Branch Conference Room to discuss a book written by an author from outside of the US. To date, we've covered works by writers from Cameroon, Chile, India, Australia, and South Africa, with Romania next on our list. Stop by the Main Branch ahead of time to pick up our current selection (please note that there may be a waitlist). Copies are also available on our online platforms, Hoopla and Libby/Overdrive.

Take note of upcoming dates and selections:

  • April 1st: discuss Night by Elie Wiesel
  • May 6th: discuss Inside Out & Back Again by Thanhha Lai
  • June 3rd: discuss Evening Class by Maeve Binchy
